“My debut EP Invisible Treasure (Nine Athens Music) features contemporary, re-imagined versions of folk materials and original compositions. Invisible Treasure was born out of my passion for American roots music, and my desire to find a modern, personal approach to interpreting it.
I was honored to record this project with a stellar group of musicians: Hazel Royer (Vocals), Kevin Barry (Guitars and Lap Steel), Rebecca McGowan (Percussive Dance), Maxfield Anderson (Mandolin), and Minnie Jordan (Fiddle). The EP was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Rafi Sofer at Q Division Studios, Somerville, MA, in May 2021.
Invisible Treasure received air play on WVTF, WTJU, and The Bluegrass Situation.”
